We're a local charity that's passionate about delivering key services to see the lives of offenders and their communities visibly transformed by hope.
Our aim is simple: to see the lives of offenders and their communities visibly transformed through support, empowerment, and opportunity. Through our support, we aim to empower individuals to take control of their lives and become active contributors to their communities.
We offer opportunities for growth and development, encouraging offenders to build new skills and pursue meaningful work. Together, we can create a world where second chances are the norm and individuals are given the tools they need to transform their lives for the better.
Employability & Entrepreneurship
Building up confidence and experience to develop work-ready skillsets and entrepreneurial mindsets.
Creative Education & Engagement
Using creative activity to build personal confidence, social capital and real community
Underpinning everything we do is our commitment to supporting the whole person; their mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
Junction 42 was established in 2012, with the founding team bringing more than 45 years’ combined experience of working in prisons and with offenders in the community.
We work in over 120 prisons and communities across Northeast England and central Scotland supporting people throughout the journey of custody and rehabilitation. Seeing lives set free, transformed, and empowered is the
reason Junction 42 exists.
